A place to understand everything from nothing.

The way in which we measure the universe has no bearing on how the universe is structured. There’s been a longtime misconception and conflation of two major concepts in dimensioning: Measurement and Structure. While measurements with the classical dimensions have been invaluable throughout the history of scientific advancement, we’ve observed four major problems with utilizing the classical dimensions for discussing the real structure of functional existence.

The first problem is the issue of utilizing the classical dimensions to communicate everyday experiences and environments. The first three classical dimensions are useful for measuring things. They are used every day to measure objects and spaces in various environments. However, this concept of dimensions shifts from angles of measurement and observation to becoming hard limits on our ability to contemplate and understand functional reality. While contemplating three dimensions, it is commonly accepted that the cubic grid is complete, without acknowledging that it is not three-dimensional in terms of being inclusive of three uniquely structured dimensions of measurement but is instead simply three sets of one dimension—three directions of length instead of anything more. This is why the fourth dimension doesn’t fit into the classical dimensions and causes confusion, because time is far more complex than an additional direction of length.

When discussing time, we suddenly change from making measurements to entering a full blown existential crisis. People make claims that you can’t perceive time, even though we constantly predict, react and remember. It is commonly claimed that we cannot travel through time and yet we are always progressing from one moment to the next. Structurally speaking, without traveling through time existence would be a freezeframe. With so many rules, forbidden concepts and contradictions, this indicates an incomplete vocabulary for concepts when discussing time, as well as an incomplete perception of the concept of time and its related concepts of travel, observation and measurement.

Another problem is the concept of higher-dimensional structures beyond the third classical dimension of quantum structures being considered to be of a higher order of structural organization than present reality, and that present reality forms when collapses occur from possibilities down to our so-called three-dimensional realized universe. This implies that incomplete structures are more organized than complete structures, a backwards concept.

An additional problem with the classical dimensions is that they are determined along straight lines, while functional existence is not structured along straight lines.

Finally, there is the problem of simplexes. Anything beyond a three-dimensional pyramid simplex is inconceivable with the classical dimensions even with myriad other shapes that can be formed with simple expansions along additional axes.

To resolve this conflation between measurement and structure, for our own purposes, we chose to establish a differentiation between Metric Dimensions and Structural Dimensions. The ordering and determination of these follow similar rules. We’ve included these sets of dimensions in the Zandarian Lexicon, a set of terms and definitions that we are developing meant to bridge the conceptual and communicational gaps between various schools of science, philosophy, spirituality and magic. In the remainder of this article, we will share these dimensions with you to be utilized for your own purposes.

Metric Dimensions must be ordered by expansion along sequential perpendicular angles and must be useful for measuring objects and spaces with a simplex that can be clearly described and perceived by the observer.

Structural Dimensions must be ordered by expansion from a set of consistent aspects of existence requisite for each subsequent higher structural dimension. As a rule: calculations of structural dimensions must be accomplished utilizing calculators one dimension further expanded than the dimension(s) being calculated.
